A LETTER FROM LILAH

On care, intention, and the meaning behind our name.

There is a particular kind of care that goes into writing a letter to someone.

We consider the words we choose. We think about the person who will receive them. We think about how we want them to feel when they read what we've written. And somewhere between the first word and the signature, something ordinary becomes personal.

That idea became the foundation for Love, Lilah.

My name is Jalilah Amirah Smith, and when I began imagining what this House could become, I kept returning to that same kind of care — the kind that considers not only what we create, but how it will be received.

I wanted to build a wellness house that approached everyday living the way we might approach writing a meaningful letter: with thought, with intention, and with the recipient in mind.

That care can take many forms.

It can be a fragrance chosen because of the way you want to feel when you wear it. A candle that changes the atmosphere of home. The attention given to your skin. An experience that creates space in a busy week. A gathering that reminds you to spend time with people who matter.

Different expressions, but the intention is the same.

And that is where our name comes from.

Love, Lilah.

Like the closing of a letter, it is more than a signature. It is a reminder of how we hope everything from this House reaches you — with care.

What began with scent has grown into a much larger vision, but that principle continues to guide everything we make and everything we create.

Not more for the sake of more.

Not wellness as another obligation.

But thoughtful things, meaningful experiences and intentional moments that can become part of the life you're already living.

You don't need more. You need what matters.

With love,

Jalilah
